I've always felt Audi was the sweet spot between BMW and Mercedes-Benz, with the styling on point. Luxury and value don't always go together, but seems to fit here. Great review, as always Steve!

I have a 2022 S4 in tango red metallic. I love it still after almost 3 years. I looked at the other German rivals, but the quality of materials, steering and brake feel, was noticeably better in the S4. People commonly walk past those same German rivals to compliment my car.

I couldn't quite pin it at first but everything made sense once you said the S4 wasn't on it's original wheel & tire set. Those 18s are drabbbb. Otherwise quite a timeless design

Great review! I totally agree. Though I did end up going with the M340i xDrive over the S4 when I bought in 2021. It has better tech, is more powerful, and MUCH more fuel efficient. Not to mention the cabin has better storage capabilities and better cup holders. And when driven at its limit, it doesn’t fall apart like Audi chassis do since the BMW truly is a RWD architecture. And as long as you opt for the adaptive suspension and either get 18” with Runflats or 19” with non-Runflats, the ride quality is great (the Audi certainly isn’t as finicky with wheel/tire combos).
