US Ambassador to NATO says she's 'confident' Finland and Sweden will join in months

The US Ambassador to NATO says that she would like to see Finland and Sweden complete the process of joining "in a couple of months."

It comes as member Turkey says that it will not consent to the two nations joining unless 'terrorist suspects' in their countries are handed over.

NATO members must agree unilaterally for new countries to join the alliance.

Is Turkey really an "ally" though? They might be an Nato, but I´m not sure they should be after this debacle. In reality, Sweden and Finland are much more reliable allies to Nato, because they share our values.

Odd It took only a few weeks for the UK to sign off an agreement ensuring support (presumably with a nod of approval from the White House).
I'm assuming upsetting Turkey directly, is a rather big No No for the USA, right now but they wanted to signal their position.
Thank goodness we've got such competent, able, well balanced leaders in Putin, Biden, Johnson and Erdogan!!!
