People have often referred to me as a creative person and then talk about themselves as not creatives. I've always been against that view. Everyone can be creative and watching this video made me smile. I love this quote from Albert Einstein - 'Creativity is intelligence having fun'. Great video as always!

I am an Art and Design Teacher and i say that to students and parents so often who think that the creative field is 'brainless' and 'limited' to putting marks on paper. I have seen so many gifted students being forced to do other things because someone told them that their creative ability cannot make them a living and its not a good direction to pursue. Its always about science, math or some other subject in business. its a crying shame when our creative energies goes to waste. Thanks for sharing.

I agree! I believe everyone can be creative! I express my creativity thru youtube, and thru my everyday life. Even just picking what to wear, to what kind of furniture to buy or how I decorate my bedroom. Creativity is fun! I always love your videos! More power to your channel! Thumbs up!

Very inspiring speech Roberto. Few years back then, I never thought I had anything to do with creativity. Fortunately, I found my own voice despite people's discouragement of pursuing a career involved in creative industry. I think the most important thing is the environment and the support of creative community to encourage people to express and experiment with their creativity.

I'm glad you made this video. I'm going on 49 and never considered myself creative. I actually did a video on this. We think alike lol. I was saying how YouTube and social media like Instagram has helped me find my creativity. I'm loving this process of thinking of new ideas for my videos or photographs and how social media is giving me a reason to try to find my creative self. :) Great video! Hugs Melody

I agree a lot with the statement in where you mentioned how the growth process of a creative, which is soil, water, and sunlight.
I have always said that creativity is so much stronger when you are a part of a community in where your passion and fuel is well developed and passed around. It's like when I meet someone who I can end up geeking out with about technology, photography, design, or cinematography, even gaming as well.

Just saw this, this is what I needed today. I am a Facility manager because the electric bill needed to be paid before I could make it as an artist. Now I am able to spend time refining those skills, and am trying so I can try to make a break doing what I love, while having skills to pay the bills.

Roberto this discussion helped me so much. I've always actually considered myself creative, and I do believe that I am, but have also stifled myself, and been stifled, all my life. It's a painful thing to want to 'do' something, but understand, because you've been taught this way, that creative expression is either 'not good enough, ' 'a waste of time, ' or, especially in my case, 'for other people.' Those who are 'gifted' are allowed to be creative and work in creative fields and enjoy a life of creativity. The rest of the people have to toil away at something they don't really like, feel every day like they're missing out in life, and know they're not allowed to play. So, I just want to thank you!

Thank you for this video. I am currently going to school for Graphic Design / Web Design. I seem to have the thought that I don' have the creative skill to succeed. But with this video I realize that I will do good in this field but will be more of the "Executor" type. I really like your videos!
