How much electricity do we use??

To figure out how much electrical energy we use in a day, we need to first calculate how much energy each device or appliance in our home uses. We can start by finding the energy consumption of two basic things: a hairdryer and a laptop! Once we've find the total energy use of these two things, you can apply the same procedure to all the different devices in your house.

For us folks in the United States, we consume a LOT of electrical energy on a daily basis. There are many ways to reduce our energy consumption to reduce our impact on climate change and save money. Check out this video for a list of different ways to do so:
