Trudeau, Johnson announce Canada-UK trade deal ahead of Brexit deadline

Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau and British Prime Minister Boris Johnson, along with International Trade Minister Mary Ng and U.K. Secretary of State for International Trade Liz Truss on Saturday announced a new trade deal between the two countries ahead of the Dec. 31 Brexit deadline, which would have triggered new tariffs on a range of Canadian exports.

Under the interim deal, the key provision under the Comprehensive Economic and Trade Agreement (CETA) would be preserved, which entails the elimination of tariffs on 98 per cent of Canadian exports to Britain. The deal will still require approval by both governments.

The deal comes after weeks of negotiations since the summer to strike a deal which will help avoid triggering a tariff on exports such as seafood, beef and autos on Jan. 1.

I'm deceive, they just congratulate together instead of talking real... We know that business will going on, it do not depend on politic but more to business men :-) Just make business easy and fair for both of us but .. Can we go further together ? We are close both to the poles.... Wehre is the futur of the humankind with the co2 increasing, the trash becoming island into the ocean :-) We have to deal with both Russia and USA.
Alone it will be difficult, together maybe we can say: we want to trade with Russia and share fairly the norh, the south will be more complicated with the south american people.
The north can be a sanctuary, I hope, for the people around the world, flying the catastropic climatic changes, 15 yers, 30, 50 but that will come.

Watch the Anti Brexit/Remoaners start complaining. Even though this trade deal means continued Canada-UK trade that will be done in the same way it was while the UK was in the EU. With a better Canada-UK trade deal to be done in the near future. Without paying a single penny/cent into Brussels slush fund.
