Bit of a silent viewer but just wanted to say your channel has become my favourite on YouTube, feel like I'm watching a friend. So real and down to earth. Thank you!

I'd definitely watch "Knot too shabby" 😅 Nothing like a Lucy Wood crafty vlog to brighten your day. 😊 ❤️

I most certainly did enjoy "twenty minutes of peaceful knot making and a bit of gardening". So zen, just what I needed this morning!

Yours actually looks nicer than the urban outfitters one lmao. Love when people promote making things yourself/buying second hand/upcycling instead of buying loads of new things!!

The easiest way to grow herbs at home cheaply is to buy the “growing” herbs from the supermarket, they’re usually only around 50p where you’ll pay a few quid at a garden centre and they’ll look a bit dead (most people use them for a few weeks and chuck them) but if you plant them in a pot or border and water them well until they establish they’ll perk right up and be usable for years. I bought a rosemary plant from Asda for 20p in the reduced section that was practically dead a few months ago and it’s now grown really big, around knee height and about 30cm across. I always keep my eye out in the reduced section now and have got chives, parsley, coriander, rosemary, basil and mint all for under the cost of one plant from the garden centre!

Cross stitch and Buffy is my kind of night. There are so many amazing episodes to come. I'm going to need your top 10 when you're done!

for future reference i’ve been told to wait a day or two to water plants after repotting to avoid root rot! sending all the growth vibes to your new shoots

Your videos are honestly so uplifting, I love your vlogs so much! Buffy is my favourite series ever, I’ve seen every season at least 10 times since my mum introduced it to me when I was a teen, such nostalgic feels 💫 The season 2 finale is a whirlwind

☘️☘️☘️A tip for plant resuscitation- ☘️☘️☘️water them with weak black tea. The tannins in the tea replicated the growth hormones the plant puts out when it rains.

Hi Lucy ! My father is a gardener and if you want to protect your plants from snails (by just pushing them away), you can put ashes all around the roots, directly on the ground in the pot. We do that at home and snails don't like ashes, they can't slide on it. Another solution si to cut a bottle open and put it like a protection wall around the plant. Snails are nice creatures but they destroy vegetable gardens :( I hope my english is understandable. Love fron France ! Thank you for the love and joy you bring !!

To keep slugs and snails off your plants put something called copper tape around the outside on the base and top of the plant pot. They don't like copper for some reason and it keeps them away. Also try bringing the shoots indoors and cover them loosely with cling film to keep them warm and moist until they're a little bit bigger (this is my mother's advice, I have the opposite of a green thumb)

These videos reassure me that sitting at home doing mini little tasks and staying in "day" pyjamas is okay, big up Lucy and Adam and cheeky little Flo🐱

Tip - if you put used eggshells on top of the soil around your plants the slugs won't be able to eat them as they can't crawl on the shells. 🌱

I had been going to suggest using some shelves to raise them off the ground but you beat me to it with your re-purposed trolley. 👍

That macrame fruit basket looks fab!

I'm living for these crafts! Sometimes I do some embroidery while I'm watching and it just makes everything very relaxing.

Lucy try and get hold of a copper tray to put your plants into slugs and snails wont cross copper or try copper wire around the bottom of your pots to stop them getting at your shoots xx
