Seriously, thank you. I have used several headlight restorers that haven't worked. This took me about 35 min., and cost about $10. If I could post a picture I would, they came out almost like new.

Awesome headlights restoration Chris, however a Jamaican walked up to me when I was about to restore my headlights and said "try some Ajax on a damp cloth mon - den use a good wax an yuh get de best shine sah...no problem" he was right!

Used this method on my cadi worked great!! Used some degreaser with my sand paper as well worked like magic.

Chris I believe you could cut you some round pcs of these grits and use an orbital sander which would be much easier. Use double sided tape to keep paper attached to sander. I used orbital sander and buffer pad to apply wax and shine up headlights when finished. Just a thought.

I modified your idea i put on tooth paste with cloth then iput put baking powder on then sprayed vinegar on and used no scratch pad and used like your sand paper then wiped everything of with a damp soft cloth. worked great very clear like the one with the sand paper. And i did not have to get my hands dirty

Used this on my 04 Taurus last night, with a sander. Went from 600 grit to 1, 200, and then 2, 000. Used the toothpaste a few times, then applied a polish and sealer from walmart. Went from looking like ass to almost brand new. Thanks for the video!!

A soft cotton buffing wheel from Harbor Freight (about $5) on a viable speed Drill works a hell of a lot better and FASTER too.

After trying many different headlight restoration kits, and spending over a hundred dollars, not to forget the labor I put into trying to make these products work, I figured out the perfect way to get clear headlights again. I shopped online and bought replacement headlights. It took me less time to instal them, and now they are perfect. I did have to realign them as to not blind my fellow motorist driving the opposite way. I am very happy now and tell all my friends, to just buy new headlight assemblies and save time, and aggravation.
