Homemade Soft Serve Frozen Custard

Frozen Custard and ice cream are the sweet frosty dessert that we all crave at home. Just a few very simple ingredients that you probably already have and a basic ice cream churner and you're good to go for homemade deliciousness.

I love Josh, but you can totally do this without an ice cream maker. I used a stainless steel bowl. In the freezer for an hour, take it out, whip it up to break the crystals. I do this 3 times then let it freeze fully. Works awesome. I have also seen people pour it into a large ziplock bag, into the freezer for an hour, then bring it out and massage it. Do it 3 times. Scoop into a container and fully freeze.

Milwaukee native here, can confirm this city has some amazing custard and burger spots. If you're in Milwaukee some of the most famous spots you should try are Leon's, Kopps, and Oscars. These three are the best, and have been around since the 50s.
