for those that his opponent doesnt know here are the pieces and their abilities

pawn: musket, summons 2 pawns to fight for you

rook: sniper rifle, summon walls and grapples to high areas

knight: bow, charge and damages opponents

bishop: blunderbuss, fly(immune to kings pull) and throws a grenade that deal splash damage

queen: tommy gun, hover, and pick and throw pieces

king: sword, ability to sword plunge and has a gravity pull to force opponents closer to him
