It's OK to read, acquire knowledge, challenge that knowledge, learn what other people think about the same subject, and then make an action.

Edit: love how this is somehow perceived as a controversial statement. Most of the time reading isn’t about taking action, it’s about acquiring knowledge. One example is Marc Andreessen - just listen the last interview with Lex Fridman and you’ll see the wide span of knowledge that he’s acquired, but most of all how all the bits of knowledge compliment each other. It’s almost poetic.
