Steiner is far out there. I’ve never caught him lying to me. I cannot confirm everything he says, but he never misses on those things I do understand. Granted, what I do understand is not a lot, but he is still batting a thousand as far as I can tell.

Thank you for this and all the other Steiner teachings so beautifully narrated by this anonymous reader. Since he mentions Theosophy often but never Anthroposophy, I gather this lecture was given before Steiner developed his own school. What an amazing human he was.
