Whenever my old man and I go on our yearly trout fishing adventure (we live in Missouri), we use pink plastic worms (not too bright) and hook them in the middle for jigging action. Best and simple lure I’ve used!

🎣 and here I thought fish are supposed to move a lot slower in the colder weather, apparently that's not the case here. A great job on catching and releasing these fish. Also I was just wondering here too, is all your baits scented or unscented. Especially your creek bugs, I would like to get three packages of them. I would like to get all my stuff ready before April 5th, here in Pennsylvania that is when trout fishing season open up and starts.
