Lunch at Hap Chan

Given the long day we've had, we opted to have lunch at any
Chinese restaurant. Fortunately, we stumbled onto Hap Chan.

Disclaimer: The ratings were based on our experience at their SM Calamba branch.

Food: 2/5

Their food looks so appetizing on the menu. However, their fried chicken and shrimp siomai taste like frozen. Seems like it was stuck in their freezer for a long period of time. Their beef brisket noodle soup and stir-fried beef ho fan taste just fine, however, the latter has almost no beef just like what's shown on their menu. Siopao is just okay.

Their crews, especially the one who assisted us are not accommodating. Their facial expressions are so gloomy, not sure why though, given the fact the we arrived at their restaurant with no customer inside. Also, could you believe, we requested for water, to our surprised, the crew gave us only one glass of water considering that we were a group of four people. Hahaha! We just laugh it off and tried to request another three glasses since we can't eat without water! What a unique experience.

We've give it to their place. It's clean and has a very cozy ambiance. It has a very Chinese touch and so it's a perfect 5! :)
