Super good tutorial. I also recommend beginners to use a thin piece of plastic if they don't feel too confident. Just to be safe since the ribbon cable is a pain to fix

I remember when I first started out and the difficulty I Had when trying to remove a battery in a iPhone 8. (Spent at least 20-30 minutes). Now I do battery replacements daily and when I encounter this issue all you have to do is use heat, isopropyl and a plastic pry tool.

Personally i just heat the back of the phone then pull the battery out since for me its the quickest option

Thin piece of plastic is a far better option. Too easy to cut the battery or cables with metal tools.
