While many people don't care for fish, I didn't see one MDR menu on a 7 day NCL cruise with a salmon selection. Fried flounder was available but I avoid fried food. Did you see any other good fish selections at the MDR? It seemed that the only option for a nice fish meal was to spend extra for specialty restaurants. Compared to other cruise lines, NCL is not a good choice if you enjoy well prepared fish unless you're willing to pay for a lot of extra cost specialty dining.

For Onda and Cagneys, were you allowed 2 apps and a main? Or was this the food for your table? Just looking at menus and figuring out what we want to try :) It looked at Onda like you were allowed an app, pizza, pasta and a main???

Since I got over Covid many foods I normally enjoyed were now tasteless. I’m used to spicy Mexican foods and this surprised me. When you mentioned that some of the food was tasteless I wondered if you were post Covid…

The food looked a mixed bag . I can’t remember ever seeing you give 0 before. I always try and guess what mark you are going to give 😂 . Always enjoy your reviews.

I am very much in line with all the restaurant reviews. Sad to say, I had the same experience in Cagney’s. Everything around the meat was perfection but the meat was just a bit tough and I am a rare meat eater so it wasn’t the cooking. Totally agree on the Mexican. Overwhelmed on the size of the portions, underwhelmed on the flavour. Loved the Italian, had the veal Milanese, delicious but the portion was too large. Indulge was a great alternative to the buffet and never had a bad plate throughout the cruise. I did eat once in Hudson’s for the ambience. The food as usual left a lot to be desired. More fit for large banquets as opposed to individual dining. I am booked on the transatlantic in November and look forward to visiting my favourites on the Viva.
