the more i listen to this song, the more i think of my friends from summer. we did everything together and made a lot of good memories. back then, cellphones werent a big thing kids used and we didnt have access to email or anything so we just met up in the usual forest at the same time every day. we went swimming, hiking, biking, running, bought snacks and sat around all day. we sang this song all the time, we even made a couple of parodies of the song ourselves. this song just brought a lot of good memories back and made me tear up a bit, especially the remix which managed to hit harder than i expected. i still hear your laughs dylan, i still hear your voice danny, i still see your smile bianca. who knew that the last day of summer would be the last time i saw them...

I made soo many memories this summer. this song brings back the memories I had with my older brothers they made my life soo much better and now they have families and I’m alone with mum and dad.
