Played halo 2 for the first time ever today in the MCC. Once I heard this I just had to find it

I never thought such a track would make me feel so pumped up and so relaxed at the same time. On that level, The Arbiter, I felt like an eagle with its wings stretched out peacefully flying through the sky...all the while sporting a pair of plasma cannons and a fuel rod launcher.

This was super badass. Being my first time experiencing Halo 2, this certainly helped in making it my favorite campaign of the four. This sequence was top 5 individual gaming moments for me.

When I heard this in Halo 2 Anniversary, totally blew me away. I was really impressed with this track and it really made me engage more in the aerial fight before the storm. Props to 343 and all the people that helped make this awesome track!

As much as I love the original, I think this track is more fitting, its still intense, but it has segments that are free, which really fit the flying segment. This is a personal favourite.

This track always stood out to me. It doesn’t sound Halo, but that doesn’t mean it doesn't *feel* Halo. Forgetting ODST, it’s probably among my top 5 favourite Halo soundtrack songs.

I hadn't gotten to play Halo 2 until the Master Chief Collection was released, as the original had already been taken off the shelves when I got into Halo. When I finally did get the chance, I was especially excited to play as my main elite since he was so awesome in Halo 3. His first level loaded up, and I was pumped as ever, and I happily fought my way to those awesomely-designed heretic banshees ready to take flight. Being the hard core metal/rock fan that I am, you can get a good idea of how awesome it was to here this beautiful song come on the second I pressed RB.

Such a beautiful song. Its captures the feel of hope and struggle and it ends so well. A happy ending.
