And sometimes people would come up to me and be like, "I've never heard your voice. Say something. :D" and I'll just be thinking bitch I know you have heard my voice before so don't even. lol

I HATE when people say, "Cheer is SO easy. All you have to do is look pretty and clap your hands." NO NO NO NO OMG you try and hold up a girl that is like 10 pounds lighter than you! (Especially me. My flyer is 160 pounds!) Then you learn all the flips and stuff for competition in like 2 days!! Then do flips IN MOUNTS! LIKE SERIOUSLY! IT'S NO EASY TO DO!!

People used to think I didn't speak as well. Now I was in 6th grade at the time so first year of middle school. I'm already used to this. Every time I answer a question everyone would gasp and I'd always do some variation of "oh get over it, I can speak." I don't know why but I will always remember one time halfway through 6th grade this kid is in my group and I say something (don't remember what) and he goes "I have never heard you speak before" and I look at him and go "well now you have" and he takes one more look at me then says "you scare me" and I just said "I have that effect on people" and then he was scared of me through the year.

It's been five years since I did cheerleading and I still find myself randomly doing cheerleading moves or saying an old chant.

people keep saying in the comments that cheerleader is not a sport because it's not easy. well, guess what, i do ballet and it isn't easy either. but it's obviously not a sport. anyway, people must think that there is like a pyramid and gyms are in the top but they aren't. cheerleaders and ballerinas deserve good shit too, even if ballet is not a sport(bc i think cheering is obviously a sport)
