Any improvement to external display support? On my M1 machines I almost always have to reorder my external displays on each restart or resume from sleep. Most annoying.

My only problem is battery life, I run macOS Ventura on a different volume and it drains my battery faster than the latest macOS Monterey. I hope it will improve better when the final release launches this fall.

Does MacOS Ventura allow you to access your external hard drives? I know some EHD auto ejects or can't be accessed on Monterey.

I don’t want to be a killjoy, but I miss the days when MacOS updates (then OS X) were major OS improvements. When things like Time Machine and Spaces fundamentally changed the way we used our Macs. When Snow Leopard allowed us to brag about speed improvements and optimizations with an update, not just sugar coated bloat. Don’t get me wrong, a clock app and a weather app are cute, but they aren’t really fundamental upgrades. While ARM architecture integration and great (albeit limited) backwards compatibility is nothing to scoff at, I feel like I’m seeing less and less real, substantive innovation from Cupertino these days. Am I missing something?

Does it still have the battery draining sleep when you shut the lid that the previous OS’s have? So frustrating that my M1 laptop battery goes flat in 24hrs.

I have a problem with Excel running on Ventura 22A5321d, MacBook Air M1 with O365, on a new install of Excel and a new plan spreadsheet with no add in or changed settings my trackpad will not select cells to the right of the screen, if I scroll right and try and click a cell Excel send me back left to one of the columns originally in the opening screen. I have had sessions with both Apple and MS, neither can solve the issue, is anyone else having this issue, Im trying to figure out if I should roll back to Monterey but right now I dont even know if this is Beta related? Anyone?
