They’d rather blame it on bad design or bad materials rather than fix the entire 50+/- Mile of rising coastline on the East side of Collins Ave. I can only imagine how the limestone looks underneath Champlain and the one that fell in 2018 with unlicensed demolition charges only a few blocks away from Champlain.

500 properties in 10 days? Not even working 24 hours!!

Honestly I’m surprised it hasn’t happened before now high rise buildings have no business on sand especially on the coast

Good. Especially any building by this developer and. contractor. Georgia needs to do it too.

2 inspectors for 500 properties in 10 days is 25 a day for each inspector - working 12 hrs a day that is about 2 per hour which will likely lead to heart attacks from no sleeping in truck &/or no long lunch breaks - RIP inspectors.

At 5 minutes per 'inspection', 500 properties in 10 days should about cover it. 🤣🤣

I agree w Daniel there. This isn't a strictly structural issue. This is sea rise & saltwater intrusion. Probably a sinkhole

Furthermore inspections should be done every year on every building! It doesn't matter the age of the building it doesn't matter the city the state and that thereof!!! Just another way the government fails the people

I have a real nasty feeling in the bottom of my stomach, that the American taxpayers will be left paying for all this. Being that the people involved are ether bankrupt or dead.

They can say all the words however it should have been underway otherwise it wouldn't have happened in the first place they're keeping money in their pockets at the expense of you and your family

Remember, no income tax means real estate tax is used for keeping things going. I'm taking bets everyone will pass inspection at a record speed so we can get back to selling sea view at the all time high.

The ones that really need to be inspected are the ones that have ignored salt water in the lower areas.

It is always the same scenario every time. It takes dead people to concentrate on the incident. Then, they talk about measures that should have been implemented a long time ago. Now, they come up with new rules and laws. Then, we will make sure this never happens again??? We did this with wars, terrorists, floods.

Love how all the “experts” show up after a tragedy. Where were you prior to these events warning and forcing the issues of your “expert” concerns. Nothing but typical knee jerk reactions after a tragedy.
