North Korea fires two ballistic missiles in a show of military muscle despite U.S sanctions

North Korea fired two suspected short-range ballistic missiles (SRBM) on Monday from an airport in its capital city of Pyongyang, South Korea's military reported, the fourth test this month to demonstrate its expanding missile arsenal. Nuclear-armed North Korea had already conducted three other missile tests in less than two weeks before Monday, an unusually rapid series of launches. The U.S. military's Indo-Pacific Command said that the launch did not pose an immediate threat to the United States or its allies, but that "these missile launches highlight the destabilising impact of (North Korea's ) illicit weapons programme". N. Korea with 26 million people can make hypersonic missile, this country with 1.4 billion people cannot. most long range ballistic missiles at terminal speed are hypersonic in speed, but they are just traditional ballistic missile, the difference for now called "hypersonic" is besides speed is more than Mach 6, it goes totally different trajectory, it "glides" at the top of the atmosphere, therefore the current anti ballistic systems in the world cannot intercept hypersonic missiles, that is the significance of it, N. Korea's hypersonic missile made US THAAD system in South Korea useless, same as India S400 is useless to China's DF 17 hypersonic missiles.
