I have found rubber legs on Caddis patterns to be very effective. For me it has been with Cutts. Great video, always giving us the best videos!

What a fantastic fly. Simple if a little fiddley to tie but it looks absolutely deadly.

I figured the abdomen would be a turkey biot....but moose mane?? Wow that was cool. My man crushes it again at the vise!

it always amazes me that you can take so many unrelated items and make something that looks like my daughters boyfriend! Just kidding.. you are so good at this Barry.. it is such a joy to watch you glide right through these ties.. My little Norwegian has me continuing our annual remodel project now so I do not have time to play on the computer.. but it is always nice to drop in and watch your videos they are so relaxing for me.. Hope thing continue to be good for you there.. all is well over here.. take care my brother! See you in the next video.. If you click on my name here it will take you to my little youtube place.. I have a video of the inside of the house I made a couple of years back to show my friend in Latvia what the place looked like now.. if your curious.. I am going to do another one soon for him to see the new stuff that has been done.. and maybe some drone footage of the neighborhood.. Just for friends.. carry on!

Barry, you truly are a master. Need to know what tool you're using for the razor blade, if possible. Thank you, my friend.

Nice one Barry! I like this pattern for panfish - they love the rubber legs! Typical eh? wind a dozen moose mane bodies - no problem - start filming and the hairs suddenly don't want to cooperate LOL! Seems that the "problem fibers" are twisted differently than the others and that preening the twist out of all the fibers helps; if that doesn't work, I found that deliberately twisting the trouble maker will force it to lie close to the others. Cheers!

Wonderfully straight hair wing, Barry. I wonder whether you do anything with the deer hair before you tie it off or you just purchase the straight one. All the deer hair I have, no matter from which source, is somewhat curved. Therefore it turns difficult to make a perfectly straight wing. Do you have any tips? Thanks.

I’m really funny with likes and I really liked the fly up until the rubber legs went on. In white. I’ll try it with a variation on the colour of the legs. Thank you for another one dude.

Barry do you soak the moose Maine before tying and you always seem to have a selection of white and brown fibres are they all from the same patch thanks

Hi Barry! I have been looking for some scissors and im wondering what kind your using in this video? Looks to me that those have the kind of taper towards the tip that i might like. Thanks

Hey dude. Just when you’re using that 14/0 thread with the Petitjean bobbin holder do you also use a threader? I find that with Sheer it snaps if I thread it by pulling it through ☹️.

I wish I could not break my 14/0 vevus when tying deer hair.
