With no doubt samsung space zoom is really doing a great job... after fully zoomed in you still manage to get a usable pic...

2:58 theres a huge difference... you can literally very define eyes in the s22 ultra while in the xiaomi is just a black dot, also the detail in the s22 ultra is superior.

It's impressive how the Mi 11 ultra is already 1 year older than the other 2 but the camera quality is still very similar, I'm waiting for what will be the results in the Mi 12 Ultra.

Did you smear butter on the Huawei's lenses to even the score up? Some of the photo comparisons were comical, especially at 2:46. I've owned the Mi 11 Ultra and tried the P50 pro, there was virtually no difference in image quality so not sure what the photographer was doing to get such poor results.

I tested S22 Ultra against my old Xiaomi Mi Note 10 from 2019 today and was surprised to find out that in some of the scenarios the Mi Note 10 wasn't just better, it literally wiped the floor with the S22 Ultra. I'm super confused

That's the first phone to have a 10X optical zoom. (8.8x technically but it's close)

The people who say P50 Pro is not like that don't understand that Huawei has downgraded the zoom. P50 Pro does not have a pericope lens. It only had a 3.5x telephoto camera. So it's logical that it has these results. And the Xiaomi has 5x optical zoom that's why it has better results than S22 Ultra at 5x because at 5x S22 Ultra is using it's 3x telephoto and zooming in digitally. Even at 9.9x, S22 Ultra still uses digital zoom from 3x telephoto. Only when it reaches 10x and beyond does it use it's 10x optical zoom camera. Xiaomi's advantage here is that it has a 48MP higher resolution and bigger sensor compared to S22 Ultra's 10MP lower resolution and smaller sensor. So even if it has less optical zoom the higher resolution gives it sharper results on digital zoom. S20 Ultra also had a 48MP sensor for the pericope lens. Samsung had to use a smaller sensor for persiscope lens because 10x lens and 5x lenses are quite different. The sensor used for 5x lens lays flat on the phone while the sensor used for Samsung's 10x lens is placed vertically. So if they use a bigger sensor, the phone has to be thicker and thicker to fit the sensor inside. And I think the 10x on the S22 Ultra is the same setup as the S21 Ultra but they improved it with software. Despite that it's still amazing. If they could use larger and a little higher resolution sensor I think it would be even more amazing and clear than now.

tecnica y evidentemente el S22 ULTRA debe ser y es superior en Zoom a los demas moviles por el hecho de que su mayor objetivo es de 10x, ademas es un movil del presente año 2022 lo que le da punto a su favor ya que viene mas pulido y el P50 PRO y el MI 11 ULTRA son moviles del 2021 sin embargo es soprendente como mantienen el detalle a pesar se tener 3.5x y 5x lo que deja claro que el procesado mediante software tiene mucho que ver.
