Indian foods are divided into main categories:-
1. South Indian (even south states have different foods)
2. Marathi food
3. Gujrati food
4. Punjabi dhabha style
5. North Indian (Delhi, UP, rajastan, haryana)
6. Eastern food (Bihari, bengali, oria)
7. North eastern
8. Pahadi/Tibetan (Himachal, UK, ladakh, migrant in various places)

🌟 The Ratings was based on "Taste and Nutritional values". Italy and Greece (Mediterranean food) doesn't have variety at all. AUTHENTIC INDIAN CUISINE is different from food available from other restaurants and even if you watch YT videos and make you cannot bring that authentic flavor to the food, that magic resides on makers of the hand and years of traditional experience. and one more important if you diet mostly consists of non-veg only then your taste for having food not developed at all.

I travelled to many states in India and always tasted local delicacy.... I always search for authentic local dishes. My biggest advantage is that i love both veg and non-veg, even i tasted some weird food in Nagaland. Indian Food is just YUM 😋

which Basis?? CUISINE is an all Encompassing Word, includes everything taste, how satisfying, variety, method, spices, culture, presentation, nutrition etc. this is WIDE, so they must have pick few criterias and review rating & average them out. Pakistanis often confused with their food with INDIAN cuisine, basically their food has regional similarity with ONLY Indian Punjab and few areas of Rajasthan, rest of INDIA is very DIVERSE & enriching when it comes to FOOD experience 😃😃😃

Veg popularity getting increased day by day so that's also one of the reason of indian food popularity. I live in Germany and i don't know how it came to number 15 😂😂. It's totally worst i would say. In my opinion as i experienced different cuisine.
