How to install the Can-Am Promount

This video highlights the installation of Can-Am’s 60’’ FLEX2 ProMount Plow System on a Can-Am ATV.
Simple and easy to install, the ProMount Plow System has the industry’s most efficient mounting system and leading plow performance. Available for Can-Am ATVs and SSVs.
Installation of all ProMount Plow for ATV and SSV include the same steps:
1) Assemble the Blade to the Push Frame
2) Attach the springs to the Blade and Push Frame
3) Drill and cut skid plates using the template in the instruction sheet
4) Install the mounting plate to the vehicle’s underbody
5) Mount the system and get the job done!

went bk to the dealer and made sure i got the template seen in this video, that made all the difference that and this video made it a fairly simple install thank you. the directions you receive with the kit are worthless

I had a hit on a piece of ice and it bend the yellow handle. Is there parts available somewhere ?

I did one on a 2021 6x6 outlander. Definitely not an easy task. Lots of tight areas. Could not locate a template on line anywhere so had to make holes a little bigger to ensure the plate fit through skid plate. Couldn't find instructions how to install bolt hardware to plow so that's why i came to this video. Had to chop A-arm guard as well had no template for that. Little dremmel tool with cutting wheel worked great for plastic.

This was a 15% help. Why is it that you spend just under $1000 and no instructions how to put the mounting plate on??? But hey you get a sticker... 🙄 come on!!!

I just located and purchased a 2021 Outlander X MR 1000. I did read the comments below and have not located a template for it yet. Not sure if this machine has the aluminum skid plate yet as I can't pick it up for another week or so. Has anyone installed this bracket on this model and have you found the correct template?

You make it looks so easy. It is NOT! The spacings are so tight that getting nuts started on bolts can be nearly impossible. It took me and a neighbor almost 5 hours to get this install finished.

Thanks for the detailed instruction with the kit. Really makes install a snap. Ya that’s sarcasm. For the money I spent on this you could have at least included some instructions, instead here I am cruising the internet trying to figure this out. And your video skips 90% of it.
