Yes, it was real for me. I just had my student loans forgiven this February 5, 2024 for 283k and that was with years of interest.
Never again! I have no interest in higher education at this point.

I raised her as a single mom, but I started an investment account, a whole life insurance policy, and a high yield savings for her when she was in high school. It was a late start, but it was a start. She sees the benefits and concentrates now on building investments instead of things like clothes.

I had private Sallie Mae loans and they consolidated them years ago for another program and made them all federal. 😒 And I have yet to see anything forgiven or adjusted in my favor.

I consolidated my FFEL loan to Direct Student loan, then applied for Public Service forgiveness loan. My loan $35K was forgiven last year. I had been paying on my loan for 35 years. Thank you Jesus and Biden.

I had 50k in students and they were forgiven in March through the PSLF program. I didn’t believe it was real. I was doubting it the whole time. Thank god it was real! Now we have to wait until 2025 for my wife’s loans.

The program does work, I know several people whose loans were forgiven. It takes a while, but don’t give up.

Im so thankful to God my loans were forgiven this year! Almost 30k. Its been a huge blessing and a prayer answered. Thank God & the Dems for even considering doing this for student loan borrowers. Hopefully, efforts will be made to course-correct a flawed system so this same issue can be avoided in the future.
