Twelve finalists of Mużika Mużika festival were announced on Friday evening to compete in the final of the prestigious event at the MFCC centre in Ta’ Qali.

The finalists were announced at the end of the festival’s second evening which saw the 21 participants at the festival performing with various established singers. They interpreted past well-known songs.

The second edition of Mużika Mużika, organised by Festivals Malta together with PBS, is being considered as a great success, with figures issued by two telecommunications companies show that over 11,000 televiewers followed the first evening of the festival.
