Thank you man! Way better & easier than taking out The module, welding wires to do the same job! I have my frm3 corrupted twice now! Just shipped to those eBay guys to repair, if had know this steps I would hv done it myself! But great to know for future!

really impressive. So clear and precise. Even a novice can follow without issues. I will definitely try it on my E70 as my headlights are not working as they should. I bought this car a few weeks ago and when i connect my scan tool it asks me as to which one to choose, the CAS or FRM because the VIN on these two modules are shown as different so i presume it was not coded correctly. I will follow your instructions and see what happens, i hope i can get the lights to work bright as they should

Do you know if the part number must be the same I found a module that is -02 at the end and mine is -01, all the other numbers match up perfectly. Do you know if the -02 will work?

Very nice and clear explanation! I'm going to exchange my e87's Frm1 with a Frm2 this weekend (because of xenon headlights), with this explanation I think it won't be difficult to program. I hope there will be some more cool options in the Frm2, but I'll probably figure that out with Bimmercode ;) .Do you also know how to program the xenon headlights once I have them installed?

Great videos!!! You should make a video on how to change the power class on the msv80. Everyone always talks about it can't be done without resetting the working hours and doing it does not provide extra power. Then, why is it there 😂 I can't remember if the issue lies with changing the cas or 6mbot category. Changing it to wert2 always causes an error.
