How sad is it that we have this eu vs na rivalry but they never fucking play vs one another it feels like ? imagine a western msi with top 5 teams eu vs na. Should be possible, one year in Eu then Na next year…

How to make Bjerg OP again

-He needs to be willing to play less safe (as counter intuitive as that sounds). A lot of the time he mentions that his teamates are carrying, not him, but then he avoids dying or engaging at all costs as if he is the carry, when great players like Faker and Caps understand when it’s their job to carry vs when it’s their job to simply deal damage, not necessarily have a great KDA.

-He needs to 1v1 more
Bjerg used to be like Faker, where he was always playing the 1v1 perfectly, and unless you as a team coordinated to kill Bjergsen, you were never going to kill him 1v1. Now he kinda seems to play like most other kids where if he’s in a losing matchup he loses, if he’s in a winning matchup he doesn’t lose, but doesn’t “win”

-He needs to flex his deep champion pool more. Faker is great at this. Players who have deep champion pools shouldn’t feel forced to be such meta slaves. Sure being able to adapt to the meta without issues is a great plus for someone with a deep champion pool, but flexing unplayed champions or pocket picks on people who don’t have great knowledge on certain matchups is even better. For example Bjerg handshook the corki-viktor matchup all split. This doesn’t make sense, since all other players were also used to the corki viktor matchup, so they’re just as good if not better at playing both sides of the matchup. Instead you can throw them off with something similar but different. Rather than matching viktors scaling with corki, why not play ekko instead? No one will really have a ton of experience in that matchup (and neither will Bjerg) but due to his deep champion pool it is likely that Bjerg can get away with playing something that is slightly worse in the meta for a bigger lane advantage, simply due to his proficiency at most champions.

-He needs to work on using his corki packages cause dear god they have always been awful

Peak Bjerg has put every star EU mid that wasn't Xpeke in the dumpster. I don't think he'll be anywhere near that for a while tho. He was already starting to lose the edge during the TSM speed run, and taking a year off didn't help. He showed flashes during the 100T series but Old Bjerg would 1000% ass blast current Bjerg.
