As someone that prefers spending most of his time in the MyCareer, hearing that Season XP can now be earned through that game mode is some of the best 2K news I’ve heard in a while. Complete freedom to truly play your way towards such progression is the move they should’ve made since day one of introducing these seasons into 2K. I’ve been begging for that to be placed throughout the entire MyPlayer experience. But, hopefully this is something that expands upon every game mode that 2K has to offer: MyLeague, The W, Play Now, etc. Regardless, that’s a good spot to be in for how those Season Passes will be engaged with moving forward, despite the micro transactions that are now present for access to certain tiers

Get rid of everything that’s not being on court playing ball. Nothing is worse than logging in to play and someone has to do workout… switching build and gotta do a workout… it’s a mood killer and more than likely the reason most squads break up… like no one logs on to do workouts we trying to hoop. Just make that mess a separate quest for some aesthetics and not have it affect game play…

Don’t let this distract you from the fact you probably gonna have to spend another $100-$200 dollars on VC after buying the game which is probably $100+ bucks. Don’t be fooled again into overpaying to enjoy a video game

Its interesting because a lot of this stuff seems kinda dope, but Im just not excited like I used to be. Its like 2k spent too many years screwing us over and now idk what it would take for me to get excited again. Ill probably buy a few weeks after launch and see how stuff gets patched

I hope the MyPlayer Builder is like 2K22 Next Gen because I hate when attributes I don't want to use are forced to go up all because I put Close Shot at the max and I'm trynna make an Inside Center build with only max Free Throw as my shooting

There’s a lot I hated about 2k24 but one thing that pissed me off To another level, the fact that u have to go the gym or Gatorade facility if you don’t want your player to look anorexic. Idk bro they really want y’all to no life this game, bro my irl built out of shape, but I can’t even get in shape in a video game smh 😂

Biggest W 2k ever made was getting rid of badge regression on 2k25. They added jersey swaps with other NBA players that you can wear in the city & playing highschool and overseas 🔥 I pray gameplay latency is fixed. Only L is this stamina bs

This is honestly 2k’s best attempt on balancing that I’ve seen in a while. No green machine but custom visual cues + rhythm shooting. No stamina cost but you gotta do workouts to get a 99. More control on Defense + Height factor but a new dribble engine/pro play. Not to mention they combined certain badges… These changes alone will change how we play… so no this won’t be 2k24 part two.

The only thing that will make the game successful is the latency/fluidity of the game.

The physical attribute fix is a one I feel NBA street and old basketball games really used to have fun with and I’m glad they’re going back, and thankfully they learned from last year with the badge regression bc that was the MAIN reason I didn’t buy the game
