The Projector presents Arab Blues
Opens 18 Sep 2020

Selma (Golshifteh Farahani), born in Tunisia, raised in Paris, moves back to her homeland to practice as a psychotherapist to help the locals cope with the stress of cultural and social changes after the fall of long-serving dictator Zine El Abidine Ben Ali. A comedy centred around her reintegration back to Tunisia and a subtle, light-hearted political commentary on the country's transition to democracy through the female perspective.

I really enjoyed this movie. Ms. Farahani (Selma) is a knockout. Nice cast of amusing characters. It's definitely a fun movie to watch.😁👍

I watched this movie some days back and I love the story and vibe of it. The dark humor in the movie is really great. TBH I'm now finding movies with that exact vibe. This movie will not be everyone's cup of tea but if you find it interesting you would love it.

I'm going to watch this tonight. I need something different from the usual action films on cable.
