Top 11: Amstrad CPC Games of 2019

The CPC got a decent 50+ releases in 2019, and 1 particular game was a total belter, maybe the best CPC game ever? The annual CPCRetrodev competition was again a big part of this. Playable demo's and incomplete games are not included.

Here is my personal top 11 picks of the new 2019 games on the mighty CPC. Do you agree or disagree? Please leave feedback in the comments. Some of these games have Plus versions, all the ones in the video are the standard CPC 64 or 128k versions.

Love the presentation style of Ludic, though I'm terrible at wall-bounce puzzles, I'd be having an absolute nightmare haha. Miss Input and Pinball Dreams look right up my street too - what an amazing community of creators the CPC still has :)

I recently quired an old CPC 464 that I'm refurbishing and am mighty impressed with it compared to the other 8 bit computers.

novabug do you ever remember seeing a pic preview of an unreleased cpc game made in mode 2 ? that was previewed in a cpc magazine, kind of sophisticated graphics top down over a detailed landscape possibly pseudo isometric with maybe a strider robot character sprite over it?

che man is really making the most of that graphics mode, great sound to, impressive, but pinball dreams is really pushing the limits surely, best pinball game I've seen on the amstrad?

80s games was much better than these new games. But Pinball game is great.
