SPK started as a very underground industrial and experimental band (like Merzbow, Throbbing Gristle, Psychic TV, Cabaret Voltaire), and they evolved to a more underground dance and synth pop song: this evolution was normal in the industrial scene: then it was the birth of Electronic Body Music (Front 242, Nitzer Ebb, DAF, A Split Second, etc), and other derivations as techno, hardcore techno, and industrial rock (NIN, Rammstein, Laibach)...SPK is a great project with the great musicianship of Graeme Revell, piano player, and a very talented and succesful soundtrack composer.
