Renault Kadjar 2015-2019 review - Carbuyer

The Renault Kadjar has arrived in the crowded crossover/SUV sector and is based on the ever-popular Nissan Qashqai. It's got stylish looks and the same range of frugal and efficient turbocharged petrol and dCi diesel engines, and a bit of extra boot space thanks to a slightly elongated body.

Lol at people saying it's the same price as a Q3... No it's not. The Germans always offer stripped out models to temp badge snobs to the showroom. When you get there they'll try and bend you over to buy a never ending list of ridiculously expensive options that jack up the price of the car into the stratosphere. That's even before you get done on the overpriced servicing to fix items that would never go wrong on a cheap Japanese hatchback.

It's a really great car /crossover - pretty reliable, nice real leather interiors very comfy ergonomic seats inside with super panoramic sunroof ... with good features, very sturdy and the BOSE edition, sounds brilliant... I am a very happy owner of my Kadjar :)

I bought this car a month ago. and it is great. great quality for the money. 1.6 Disel is not so loud.all in all its everything you need in a new car.

Another super review carbuyer. I actually drove one of these on launch day, and its a thoroughly well sorted car for its type and price. perhaps there is a shade too much road noise at speed, but otherwise there is nothing to be concerned about dynamically. Renault are very cheeky though in only having parking sensors on the third up from base Dynamique S trim, so its not as well priced in practise as it initially appears. Still, Renault are on to a winner with the kadjar.

A meeting at Renault not too long ago: "Right people, we got this platform from Nissan to design another tall crossover pos as all the sheep keep buying them but Nissan said make sure it doesn't sell as well as their tall pos so let's name it Kadjar!"
