Thanks for the instructions. It worked great so far. It was harder than it looked like to get the glued parts apart. I had to use more glue to get it together again. Removing the leftover glue is a real pita.

For anyone wondering why they did a cut at 00:34 i can tell you it is because this process is NOT NEARLY as easy as they showed. I have ordered a replacement screen and even if i heat it up to 140 with my temperature controlled heatgun, that backside is stuck on and not moving at all.

Just a heads up, that taking off the back glass is misleadingly easy if you would believe this video.

Also, the suction cup has a hard time staying attached, as the phone has a glass finish.

Not sure but I've heard from a friend who does cell repairs and was told that these 3rd party repair places use knock off lcd screens and not the original amoled screens he said only time you might get the original amoled screen is if they have one on hand from another broke phone once I heard that I figured that I would just go through oneplus to fix my phone anyone know anything about these 3rd party repair places??
