Should you BUY a used 2019 Honda Civic Type R?

The Civic Type R has now been available in the USA for almost three years. One challenge for buyers has been the markup that dealerships have been putting on the hot hatch. Under the hood is the 2.0L turbocharged inline-4 that is pumping out 306 HP & mated to a 6-speed manual. It's exterior may look outrageous but does have a lot of functionality to it. On the inside you will find some seats that look like they belong in a race car and that usual Honda fit and finish. Is the 2019 Honda Civic Type R a car that you should buy?

would love a type r, but the 2nd gear grind issue still does not look to have been fully resolved by honda. a quick google of the issue will show just how many other people are still experiencing the same problem :(

I wish in Seattle WA these were the prices. Because man they rack this up. I was looking at the accord, that caught my eye but I moved on from Honda’s long time ago but still have a special place in my heart for them. This is where I started. Now I own and bmw 335i and Audi A4 love my Audi because it’s a six speed.. it’s rare to find my model in a six speed.

had a brand new one in black in 2018 and I LOVED the car.... was constantly bending the stock wheels on normal sized bumps etc... ended up trading it but I miss it!!!!

In the area I live in I just recently saw a 2018 type r with 5k miles going for 30, 500 the price is getting more affordable at least in my area

I wonder if Honda will ever make another Type R cause they might put their focus on the Acura Type S lineup
