This guy defines a niche that I think has remained untapped for a long time. There's plenty of songs about breaking up, but not many of them tap into the feeling of that time when both people know they have no future together, but neither are ready to let it break. Anyone who's experienced it knows its like trying to bucket water out of a sinking ship. Baileys onto something special and he knows it. He's certainly helped me find the tragic beauty of what has certainly been the worst period of my life. The tragic artist of modern country music certainly knows how to help soothe this kind of suffering.
