To me, it is fine bringing old stuff back from previous game, just don't make it THE ONLY things coming to the game in an update. If you're going to bring back an old track, bring a new one with it. If you're gonna bring 6 cars from olders games, bring at least 3 brand new ones alongside them. But i guess it's asking too much...

I think the devs forgot that updates are supposed to have new stuff

Bathurst being back is a positive, however, the lack of new cars is a mountain sized letdown.

If they’re going to copy-paste tracks, why don’t we have Fujimi Kaido

We’re never gonna see the Joss JT1 in a Forza game again, and that makes me sad…

At least Bathurst is back!

As an Australian I'm disappointed we have so many tracks the v8 supercars run on, also would've loved to see the gen 3 supercars, super disappointed

3:58 That's what happens when a buzz word is used, people who have no idea what the word means use it anyway to speak out of their asses.

The game has ray traced reflections (which is what most people think RT is) since release. This update added ray traced global illumination on PC, which is cutting edge stuff and super demanding on hardware. There are other types of RT to, like ray traced shadows.

You forgot to mention NASCAR and SuperBikes raced at Bathurst, also recently a man died whilst racing his own Holden Commodore VN Group A at Phillip Island so it’s great to see his car in the game

TLDR of the IMSA circuits we have 10 of the 13-ish circuits IMSA visits, and only 2 of the current circuits on calendar would be new to Forza.
Nick mentioned "All the IMSA tracks not in Forza". Of the tracks that IMSA has race in the last 5 or so years (by my memory) the only permanent track missing, and that has never been in a Forza Game is CTMP. Reaching back a bit further Sonoma isn't in FM, but was in 7 so not "new". Of the Street Circuits, Long Beach was in 7, but neither of the Detroit GP circuits were ever in game. So of the 12-13 IMSA circuits we're missing 1 permanent, which would be new, 2 street circuits, 1 of which would be new

Really hope the next update let's you see and compare driver stats. I want to know my win/loss percentages by track, by car, online and offline, miles driven, my podiums and my win percentage and everything.

As a New Zealander and someone who watches Bathurst like a religion, yay Bathurst is back, but that's really disappointing, none of the new V8 Supercars like the ZB and Mustang, or the Gen 3 Camaro and Mustang. Kinda sucks, hopefully they add something like it in the future. (Also get the proper bloody sponsorship, not 'Low Auto', please)

Not much to say about this update. I love Bathurst and Australian cars so I'm always happy to see more Australian content. Wish the devs put some new cars in the game, there's plenty of Australian cars and also V8 Supercars that could've been put into the game too. But with the car sounds, they're getting more accurate but it really feels less dramatic. Ferraris and the McLaren P1 GTR's downshift sounds are really good irl and it just feels like they didn't really care about that. Either way im excited to play with more Australian cars regardless

I think the main issue is when they get the audio recordings they probably can't push the engines that much. So when you expect the sound of 9000 rpm you actually get the sound of 6500 rpm.

Raytracing wasn’t added. It was upgraded.

I bought this game so i could race as one of the Nascar Vehicles, since the Nascar games had many years of terrible games from ETX, 704 & Motorsports Games

a lot of cars nowa days in forza dont have the best "engine brake" sound to them. if they added a base model camaro, I'm sure they'd butcher it. i know what they sound like stock, muffler delete, catted down pipe, and catless down pipe. and yea every time it sounds like bass boosting. muffler not as much bc its a big muffler, but it still had a tone to it.

1:02 An average Australian here, thanks for the compliment Nick!

Wasn't Ray Tracing one of the biggest sales pitches for this game? Like wasn't there promotional videos comparing RT in this game against GT7, that didn't have RT ingame?

Then again, FH5 won the game award for an accessibility feature that wasn't in the game for a year after the awards happened...

I have 334 hours in Forza Motorsport and I am having fun, but I've been playing Horizon 4 and 5 much more recently and it's been reminding me how lacking the game is. There isn't much reward from it too. Cool new cars are still coming out to Horizon but Motorsport isn't getting much. When it comes to online multiplayer, it's all the same cars so that never really changes. Not like I'm missing out on anything. After this update, it seems like a good time to put the game down for a bit. I know the devs are working hard but I do wish they were a bit more transparent in the whats and why. I plan to build a racing sim in the next year or two so hopefully it's a different game by then. There are not many sim like racing games that work perfectly on a controller. Forza is so unique from that aspect. The game just needs a bit more.
