I've had both (first this Tesla, now an i4 M50) and it's the BMW for me, all day every day. The Tesla is a plasticky 'appliance' with great software (although I hated the slow Spotify and Apple Music apps), and the BMW is a car which surrounds you with luxury and is an actual joy to drive. It's logically also more expensive though.

Owner of both cars.. BMW much better quality.. nicer ride on the expressway for sure! Interior is the Tesla is cheap... feels like you'll break it compared to the girth of the BMW. 2024 M3P will beat the M50 0 - 60.. but 60 - 120 (both around 7.3 seconds) on a roll is a tie... depends who gets the hit. 60 - 120 will waste a 2023 M3P... earlier model of M3P much slower 60 - 120 than the newer 2024. The 2024 is quicker if pre-conditioned and 95% SOC 60 - 120... but that's not realistic... it's not like you're charging your Tesla every few minutes and pre-conditioning... then going out on the highway looking for race.. rinse and repeat lol!
