Abrar Ali, a teacher who runs the Joint Mentor of Discipline (JMD) coaching center in Shakurpur, Delhi, claims that he and other Muslim teachers at the centre were abused and beaten by right-wing Hindutva organizations.
This incident took place on July 4th. At around 3:30 PM, a dispute broke out between the teacher and the parents of the students over tuition fees during a phone call.
Later that same day, at around 7:30 PM, members of right-wing Hindutva organizations allegedly assaulted and beat the class teachers, accusing them of religious conversion and teaching Quranic Kalma in the JMD class. The class teachers denied these allegations, calling them baseless.
Following the alleged assault, Abrar Ali had to be admitted to the hospital.
Despite this, the Subhash Place police filed an FIR against the class teachers, who had been beaten by a Hindu right-wing organization.
The Wire tried to contact the police officials of Subhash Place regarding this matter but was unable to reach them.
