I was a Pennsylvania dairy farmer. We had later model diesels (Allis Chalmers D and 100 series.) They only started easily in the summer. We bought starting fluid by the case.

Mark is entertaining and informative to watch. His delivery is similar to a radio personality or storyteller. Unique tractor too.

I have a 5hp huffy hawk lawnmower that I found in a guys shed. I looked them up and they were sold by the huffy bike company until 1975 due to decreasing sales. I haven't been able to find another one as original as mine.

Why did the rear end overheat so badly? Was is a worm gear for the final drive?

Funny, Kubota doesn't certify tractors under 100hp for drawbar work. A new kubota or yanmar deere probably wouldn't fare any better in the 10 hour rated load test, and i would love to see a l4400 with a ton of ballast on each wheel pulled down to maximum load for 2 hours! I can smell the burning paint just thinking about it!

John Deere R ect had gasoline powered pony Motor that could warm the main engine though the coolant.
