Review 111: Terra by Battat Tyrannosaurus

I review the fourth and final of my new Battat models: the Tyrannosaurus.

I've been eyeing this toy at target for a while and because of this review I think I might pick this up the next time I see this on the shelf

I would say that this and Wilson by PNSO are the two most accurate Tyrannosaurus models to date.
1) I would say only the fingers are large, whereas the arms are actually a decent size. To me, the splayed fingers are more aesthetically pleasing.
3) The bird-like feet are accurate as well: if you look at the Safari Ltd. Carnotaurus, it has the same characteristics. The feet with just those big scales on its toes like on Papo's models are considered inaccurate.
4) I would opt out for large feet instead of a base any day!
6) The only *major* inaccuracy that I find is the bent tail, and I wouldn't complain about a lack of a cloacal opening on this thing because all of the accuracies cancel that out. Not to mention, it's 20+ years old and more accurate than anything Safari, CollectA, and Papo had made for over a decade until the mid-2010s.

it reminds me of a Albertosaurus or Gorgosaurus

There are some versions of this model where they lean so far over that their noses actually touch the ground. This issue I found with a lot of the models. Great review.

T. rex probably didn't have obvious feathers anyway...so two thumbs up.

He looks fantastic. T. rex was once thought to be a tail dragging reptilian monstrosity but now it is more like any modern animal like a bear only killing when it needs to and covered with feathers

how long is 14 metres in it weight was said to be 12 tons after the Rex that was bigger then sue it's sizes just keep on going up is it
