The craziest “coincidence” that ever happened to me was one time when I was 6 we went to Galveston beach (I grew up in Houston) and I played with some random kids another family there. We had a good time sharing toys, making sand castles, and splashing in the water. About 3 years later we move to a new neighborhood on the other side of town, then in about a month, our new next door neighbors that moved in just so happened to be the same children and family that we played with in Galveston years ago. We remembered each other and everything. Craziest thing.

Back in the 1960's our family lived next door to a family with kids of our ages. My brother eventually married one of the sisters. About 50 yrs later my brother & his wife had already been living in a different city for decades & were recently talking to some new neighbors. My brother asked the new neighbor where he grew up & he said Lakewood Ohio. My brother & his wife said "wow, that's where we grew up". He asked him what street & he said "Garfield". My brother & his wife just about fell over when he told them the address, it was the same house my brother lived next door to & same house where his wife grew up. Now that new neighbor lives next door to my brother. What are the odds?

The elder who won the jackpot is the highlight of this segment. Time is rough now for them, we won't have anything, but they lived through the depression, two world wars and Vietnam. She deserves a little break in her golden years.
