I miss Nepal. I so enjoyed my visits there. It is a hard life, but only to those of us not used to it. The Nepali people are some of the happiest and most content I have ever met. I think happiness comes from being humble.

Watching from Greenland. In Greenland our material standards are very much western European-like. I watch people here with joy in there hearts and they seems to have good life overall. I spent a month there in midwinter. Walking on Hilary's path to Everest. We didn't get snow. It was dry and dusty and sunny but very cold. We had one snow shower at the lowest altitude. In winter the clouds stay low and drop their snow in the lower foothills. The days were sunny and you could look down at the fog bank below you. Just as you do from a plane.
