Ernst Hafen: My Journey in the Land of Academia 1976-2021

In this video I look back on my academic career from a Biology II student in Basel to a professor at ETH Zürich. In spite of several setbacks it has been an exciting journey. I appreciated that academic freedom to choose one's own research direction and above all the interaction with a vast number of talented students, PhD students, postdocs and colleagues.
