In this video I test out the new Milwaukee M18 Radius Compact Site Light and go over it's performance and features. It's a cordless 18V light that puts out a whopping 4,400 lumens and shines it's light in a full 360 degrees plus light output on top. You can also plug it in using an extension cord for AC power. I also compare it to some of the 18V lights I have on hand such as Milwaukee's own M18 LED lantern with 800 lumens and the powerful Ryobi 18V LED work light with 1700+ lumens.

Great review. This unit looks bright enough to light a greenhouse. What is the actual wattage consumption? These kinds of 'tools' don't really need to be cordless. I would just wire up a string of led bulbs to suit the work space. Cheaper too.

Like you said at the end although it doesn't seem as bright those 4400 lumens fill all the room. I bet if the Ryobi was placed in the corner of the room the shadow issue would be annoying.

I picked up one of these three other day and I was surprised to see that the individual LEDs are visible through the diffuser, but that's not noticeable in the video. Are they actually visible in person and just not on camera?

what do you think about the Milwaukee flood lights? like the m18 and the m12 rover

Wow, $299 for a work light without a battery? That is a might too pricey for me, thankfully, there are less expensive options. Good review though, you are very thorough. I always feel better informed after viewing your reviews.

Wouldn’t honor their warranty. Over torqued screws from factory causes cracks all over lens. My question is do you have to remove the entire base to change the button cell battery? My one key won’t light up when putting a m18 battery in the light. It use to work with phone. But now won’t connect to find the light.

White LEDs are actually blue LEDs with a coating.
