Historically Mustang owners spent a lot of money on performance hardware, now performance software has hit the scene, but it doesn't hit the same in the eyes of the consumer. If the software was developed after delivery after the model year, then Ford, Tesla whoever might have something to sell that the consumer would value.

This is cool, but Ford should release a Software Performance Upgrade to 23 GT that makes it on par with the 23 GTPE numbers.

If Ford can design a vehicle with a completely different body style with the Mustang nameplate (Mach-E) and introduce a lengthened 4-door variant to a model that was originally and historically 2-door-only (Bronco), they can definitely add a 4-door sedan variant of the Mustang as well but it must be large enough to be classified as full-size and have a proper 3-box sedan body and not a liftback with a tailgate. An ideal prototype would be to lengthen the current Mustang long enough in a similar manner to a limo to be a full-size sedan. In spite of all the controversy from purists, that a Mustang shouldn’t be a 4-door sedan, think again, Dodge Charger purists were left with no option since its discontinuation last year. So a full-size 4-door sedan variant of the Mustang would definitely be able to fill that void. This would bring back American full-size 4-door sedans and 4-door muscle cars for those that want both muscle car performance and room for the family. Plus, having an affordable American full-size RWD sedan in production would leave police and taxi fleets with ideal options as they would match such vehicles from decades ago, since the GT would be an ideal police car and the EcoBoost would be an ideal taxi. Plus, if the Escape and Edge will be replaced by EVs, there will be an even bigger offset for larger engines to stay within the legal limits. Also, both the 2-door and 4-door Mustang can both have a Lincoln counterpart. Both can be called the Continental and they can bring back American personal luxury cars and American luxury sedans and even American sedan limos. With more EVs, there should be enough room to offer a V8 in these cars as well. Some types of cars are simply worth producing at least one model. Because there would be no other vehicles in production like these, Ford would become a very lucrative business. I already admire them because they’re strictly dedicated to keeping the V8 in the Mustang and fighting with the government if they have to whereas other manufacturers, such as Dodge are simply moving on from them because a V8 engine is a very American thing. We don’t want American cars, let alone traditional ones to be dead!
