9 Free Books that Are More Important than a University Degree

One day in the year 2007, I was in a library, reading a book by David Schwartz. Somewhere in the middle of this book, I felt like I had learned so much a half an hour reading the book than I could ever learn in one-year schooling.

If you're a reader, I bet this has happened to you a few times in the past. You pick up a book, download it for free on the internet, read it for free in the library or borrow it from a friend without paying a penny yet; such book ends up being more valuable to your success in life than a year of schooling or even the whole years you spent in the university.

I think 1984 should be read also. I read Think and Grow Rich in the 80's and I agree with this pick.

I learned nothing in school except how to read and write and basic arithmetic. School didn't teach me about the importance of self care and self love. How to soothe yourself and how to develop high self esteem. To me.. school was a place where I was tormented and spent years memorizing useless information which then evaporated the second I took my exam. My real education started after school.
