LEGO and Formula 1 are joining forces in an exciting new multi-year partnership, set to launch in 2025, bringing fans of all ages closer to the high-speed world of F1. Leaks and rumors are already trickling out so I wanted to make some predictions of my own regarding which themes, sets, drivers, teams, and details we should expect for these 2025 sets. With this new partnership, we can expect to get sets from all 10 F1 teams and there's even a rumor of an upcoming Formula 1 CMF series. We're getting sets from LEGO Duplo, Speed Champions, Technic, and more so let's make some predictions.

For heritage…give me the Nürburgring Nordschleife full layout in Lego Minifigure scale.

Speed Champions better make a Honda Civic

The smart thing to do would be include one driver with the speed champion and his team mare with the CMF

We wanted the 6 wheel Tyrrell from the 70s for the Technic set. And a 2021 Abu Dhabi set with Michael Masi minifigure.

Love to see a lego set of the Jordan F1 car from 1991 one of the best looking ever complete with 7up stickers.

They should make a podium celebration with the walls behind it and you can swap out the drivers flag in the wall and it fits well to display some of the CMF minifigs

I swear if there is a lego friends lance stroll that would be hilarious

Since they’re making the entire grid of cars, surely that justifies making a new (wider) rear tire piece… right? 😅

as a speed champions fan im slightly dissapointed that its basically just f1 cars, but if there where some larger sets with transport trucks or something id be fairly happy, im more of a car fan than an f1 fan

They can't rebox the current McLaren F1 because McLaren lost the Gulf sponsorship (the blue accent stripe) to Williams, and most of the teams including McLaren have had upgrades that slightly changed the look of the car.

Now you need to get those 3D printed speed champions wall mount and have the full grid on your office wall

Lego F1 Minifigures with drivers from all eras with the helmets would be cool

Getting all 10 cars would probably be a good investment though

My wish list would be:

1. A Technic F1 Engine
2. CMF Series with legendary racers (Fangio, Senna, Prost, Clark, both Hills, both Villeneuves, Schumacher, et al.)
3. An updated pit stop set, not unlike the Ferrari one from LEGO Racers
4. I personally want an FW14 with Nigel Mansell minifig. That Moustache is legendary.

I would for them to explore the entire history of the sport. Would love to see cars like the W196, 25 and maybe even the 78.

It's cool that each team will have a Speed Champion, but vintage cars would be much better. Schumi museum pack with the 191, B194, F2002, and W03, the Brawn, a Hakkinen championship car, shark nose Ferrari, the red 5, Brabham BT46B, the list goes on.

8:36 I agree it's the best compromise for a well priced set and model with features in it. Some more they could do in the scale is Mercedes W125, Williams FW14b, McLaren MP4/13, Ferrari 312T or F2004, Lotus 49. Don't limit it to f1 cars either with Group C prototypes, classic rally, or just regular sports cars.

The CMF idea would help fill in the helmet and head alternatives for the Speed Champions minifigures (hopefully they have printed helmets, please!). Im really curious about the Duplo sets though for some reason. They may almost come across as a chibi style of F1 cars. I'm also a huge F1 fan and this is a dream to have my two favorite interests combining. I can't wait!
