Carb removal and checking on the Senator

After getting spark back, the carb leaked a lot of fuel when I turned it on. The float is stuck, but luckily it shook loose when I pulled the carb off.
This is a 1969 Gilson Senator. The serial tag on the tractor is from Senator Tiller (not Gilson) but the serial tag on the snowthrower is from Gilson Brothers.
Mine has decals that appear original for Towne & Country, TSC, Chicago ILL but the only others I have seen were marked Western Auto Senator.
